I am a software engineer with hands-on experience in React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. I am passionate about helping people, whether that's on the web or in my community. I am constantly curious, continuously learning, and a proponent of technologies like Python, Linux, cybersecurity, and AI automation.
While I enjoy exploring new technologies, contributing to open-source projects, and improving my skills, I like to get active and spend time with my friends and family, both human and otherwise! I'm also committed to contributing to the world in a positive way. Working collaboratively with like-minded people and being exposed to new ideas and perspectives is something I highly value. Nature, technology, and people inspire me every day. I hope I can put that to work on your team soon!
See what I can offerFaceTrace is a web app I built to practice full-stack fundamentals. It lets users input image URLs and automatically detects and traces the faces within them. Built with React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, and supported by libraries like bcrypt, cors, knex, and tachyons, this project was both a fun challenge and a great learning experience. Try it out yourself — see how many faces you can trace!
This is a lightweight AI workout assistant I helped build as my final Fullstack Academy group capstone project. Creating this app challenged me to integrate front-end design with back-end logic, experiment with APIs, and strengthen my understanding of how different technologies work together. I focused on writing clean, efficient code, improving my problem-solving approach, and exploring how AI can be applied in practical projects. It was all about pushing myself to learn, adapt, and grow as a developer while turning an idea into a working product.
This was a project to showcase my ability to use React. It is a functional client I built for the Book Buddy API. The app connects to a catalog of books where logged-in users can reserve or return titles. This project was a great exercise in React.js and front-end routing, giving me hands-on practice with building user flows and managing state across components.
I completed the University of Michigan College of Engineering Fullstack Immersive Program, an intensive experience that strengthened my skills across the entire tech stack. From front-end design to back-end architecture, the program gave me a solid foundation in modern web development and the confidence to tackle complex projects.
I’m excited to share that I’m currently working toward my CompTIA Security+ certification, with the goal of completing it before February 2026. This journey is about more than earning a credential — it’s about expanding my understanding, sharpening my skills, and committing to continuous improvement. I’m looking forward to applying what I learn to help create secure, reliable systems that protect what matters most.
